Isn't it exciting where you could've gone? Backtracking, not completing what's needed to be done All the while still complaining what you could of been Procrastinating problems Instead of letting new ones in Round and round Watch the seconds hand make the sound Of Years sifting us by Like the precious sands of time So... Where do we go now? Where do we go from here? Been slipping through the cracks now, we've wasted one more year Impersonating deer in headlights, we've wasted too much time It's time to put our lives back on the line Is it too belated? To forgive ourselves? For putting life's ambitions on a metaphoric shelf Saying "I'll get to it tomorrow..." then days become 10 years Then blaming past distractions or far too many beers Round and round Watch the seconds hand make the sound Of Years sifting us by Like the precious sands of time So... Where do we go now? Where do we go from here? Been slipping through the cracks now, we've wasted one more year Impersonating deer in headlights, we've wasted too much time It's time to put our lives back on the line

No Decency 03:16
You want me dead What's not been said? Through no decency Just the discrepancies mislead What's in your head? Where all unhealthy thoughts And insanity is bred Where insanity is bred Was it worth it? Did you need it? To make your prosthetic life more fun Portraying someone who really matters Won’t make it to where God’s deciding from I can't believe it took so long For the saddest song After all life's lines are cast With every throw gone wrong So wrong For the saddest song Portraying someone who really matters Won’t make it where God’s deciding from Portraying someone who really matters won’t make it when all your deeds are done Waiting out all life’s decisions Where God’s deciding from I can’t believe it took so long For the saddest song When all life’s lines are cast With every throw gone wrong I can’t believe it took so long Waiting out all life's decisions Where God’s deciding, God’s deciding, God’s deciding from God’s deciding from I can’t believe it took so long Waiting out all life's decisions Where God’s deciding, God’s deciding, God’s deciding from

Why don’t we cast-a-way? Set course for new horizons, Wash all your fears away But first things first Let go of all your problems that weigh you down the worst Set your nose to the sun Hold fast to new beginnings good times have just begun Anchors aweigh The coaming ‘round this vessel Isn’t tall enough I’m getting battered by the waves I’m setting sail for much bluer skies and in heart of buzzards bay When times and tides are getting too rough and there’s nothing you can say Just belay yourself to all your closet friends always standing at your wake Cast-a-way Set all your fears away Cast-a-way Away Anchors aweigh The coaming ‘round this vessel Isn’t tall enough I’m getting battered by the waves I’m setting sail for much bluer skies and in heart of buzzards bay When times and tides are getting too rough and there’s nothing you can say Just belay yourself to all your closet friends always standing at your wake Why don’t we cast-a-way Set course for new horizons and just plan for your escape? Anchors aweigh The coaming ‘round this vessel Isn’t tall enough I’m getting battered by the waves I’m setting sail for much bluer skies and in heart of buzzards bay

Cobblestones 04:12
He's walking up the cobblestone Trying to escape the undertow Of weeks gone by doing the only thing he knows The trials of the briny water He wants to embrace his wife and daughter But the oceans between them cast memories away And oh the pain it rips and lingers That tainted band upon his finger Perhaps a few sips will make her fade away Then says It's 3am and all the doors are closed In this whaling city divebar I call home And can I think if I had another drink Or would it take me to a place I'm not alone And how long did she wait? He ponders Before she missed a man upon her Each drag he takes can't make him understand Voices of "you married too young what were you thinking?" Out fooling around while you were sleeping In a small bunk just longing for the land Stumbling from the cobblestone, He snuck into his daughters window Packs a small bag and takes her by the hand One eyes more black than blue like the other Enraged he turns on the gas then shutters, one last drag flicks memories away

Do you suffer from sleepless nights? Did you try with all your might? Time after time you just can't find a place called home. When pills and fights can be Seen as jaded therapy This weighted anchor's gonna Drag you down alone... Til you realize that... Hey ( your emotion won't...) Change to fight the feelings that you're better on your own Grab a hold of your... Reins to guide you to a better mind and better place Grab a hold of your... Reins... Before it's too late. Does she hold your secrets to life? Is it worth the sacrifice? You were once called family But now a fair weather friend. Caught up of a web of lies with shady alibis If you agree in all we say Then why isn't this goodbye I just want to yell... Hey ( your emotions won't...) Change to fight the feelings that you're better on your own Grab a hold of your... Reins to guide you to a better mind and better place Grab a hold of your... Reins... Before it's too late.
